About the event
Are you feeling there are no boundaries in your mother-daughter relationship? Do you wish you could say what you really want or need to your mom or daughter? Do you want to feel more connected and stop a cycle of bickering? Do you sometimes question if it's okay to take care of your needs or are you expected to take care of everyone? Do you feel like you have the right to pursue your dreams and passions? Have you felt that expressing your feelings is perceived as being "too much"? Are you wishing you felt truly seen by your daughter or your mom? You are not alone.
Join us for our free virtual info-session on the common patterns and themes that get inadvertently passed down through the generations of mother daughter relationships and how they impact your relationship today. Through a non-blaming, non-shaming approach, we will look at how societal expectations and norms have a HUGE influence on the mother-daughter relationship. Beginning to understand the patterns that have been passed down in your mother-daughter relationship will help you gain insight and compassion into the women who came before you and the mother-daughter relationship you have today.
By learning about your past you can begin to hold the present differently. Mothers and daughters can find relief in recognizing their challenges are shared by others and the difficulties in the relationship are not really about the other person. They come from a much bigger context, one that didn't encourage women to be themselves.
Come learn and stay for the Q & A, settle in with your camera on or off, whatever suits you best for an evening of gathering with other women who feel similarly. My hope is this evening brings you some insight into your current mother-daughter dynamic and perhaps even leave you with a few tools of how to navigate what can oftentimes be a complicated dynamic.
